Bailey Solutions is a member of a number of associations and fully participates in these communities.
BIALL
The British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL) was formed in 1969. It is an independent and self-supporting body that was created to represent the interests of legal information professionals, documentalists and other suppliers of legal literature and reference materials in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Penny was on the BIALL Web Committee for about 5 years first as the web site editor and then as the email forum list owner. Bailey Solutions developed the current functionality on the BIALL web site and Penny developed and supports BIALL's membership database. Penny was winner of the BIALL - Lexis Nexis Butterworths Awards for Excellence 2006 with Brian Thomas for Best Use of Technology in a Library Project - for the BIALL web site.
CILIP / CLSIG
Penny Bailey qualified as a Chartered Librarian in 1986 and recently re-activated her membersip. From March 2009 Penny is the Chair for the Commercial, Legal and Scientific Information Group.

Bailey Solutions is a member of the CILIP's Supplier's Network.

SLA
The Special Libraries Association (SLA) was founded in 1909 in the state of New York and is now the international association representing the interests of thousands of information professionals in over eighty countries worldwide. Penny is a member of the European Chapter.
Sussex Enterprise
Sussex Enterprise is the 9th largest Chamber of Commerce in the UK providing business advice, support, investment and representation for businesses in Sussex. Run by businesses, for businesses, Sussex Enterprise is the largest business organisation in Sussex with 2,500+ member companies, and a further 2,700 companies who are members through affiliated town chambers from across the county. They provide practical business support, training, information and advice to help businesses like ours develop, grow and profit. Bailey Solutions has been a member since 1998.
Wired Sussex
Wired Sussex is the business development agency for over a 1,200 digital media companies across Sussex and south east of the UK. Bailey Solutions can draw on the local pool of talent when recruiting its IT developers.
